Creamy Four Cheese

A rich and comforting classic! Our Rice-A-Roni® Creamy Four Cheese flavor blends tender rice with a mix of four creamy cheeses and other natural flavors to create a tasty side dish that is the perfect complement to your family's favorite chicken, pork or beef recipes.

What You'll Need

  • 2 1/4 cups of water
  • 2 tablespoons of margarine*

What You'll Do:

  • In a large skillet, combine rice-vermicelli mix and margarine or butter. Sauté over medium heat until vermicelli is golden brown, stirring frequently.
  • Slowly stir in water and bring to a boil.
  • Cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until rice is tender. A thin layer of water (about 2 or 3 tablespoons) will remain at end of cook time.
  • Stir in Special Seasonings. Remove from heat. Let stand 3 minutes before serving.
